dc.description.abstract | Bernie Klein (we never called him Bernard) died in 2020 from Coronavirus. He was a legendary professor at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, and a public figure in Detroit politics. He had been an aide to Mayor Cavanaugh during the Detroit Riot. He was a legendary story teller and would regale friends with stories and jokes (most but not all of which could be repeated). He was three times Interim Chancellor of the university. | en_US |
