dc.description.abstractThe desired outcome of the project is to research, design, and manufacture a fully functional and ready to use Schlieren imaging system for the purpose of imaging injector sprays and leaks while being comparable to existing Schlieren system quality for a smaller cost. This system will be used to validate computational fluid dynamic models and the formation of Mach diamonds.
