Through study of primary and secondary sources related to feminist research, this class-related research paper captures the literary analysis of a contemporary Tawainese work. The paper shows how the protagonist, sexually abused by an instructor, mirrors the author's experience, and how readers perceived the author and the protagonist as passive by glorifying their victimizers in comtemporary sources. Ou applies feminist research principles in their analysis, and notes, "[B]y writing her experience into Paradise, she is demonstrating to her audience how she cracked the patriarchal narrative into pieces with her strong determination of resistance."en_US
