The Library Learning Analytics Project (LLAP) was a collaborative partnership between the University of Michigan (U-M) and the institutions that comprise the project advisory group (PAG). It was funded for three years (2018-2021) by the Institute of Museums and Library Services (IMLS LG-96-18-0040-18). The project used U-M campus and library data in order to prototype and pilot data collection, storage, and analysis with the expectation that the tools developed would be made available to other libraries and institutions. A proximate goal was to provide guidance to PAG institutions and other libraries on how to best design and implement empirical, holistic library learning analytics (LLA) studies of the links from library usage, to learning outcomes such as research, course instruction, and publications. The project produced a set of tools, scripts, and protocols that are freely available to all libraries.en_US
