dc.description.abstractThis is a discussion of the case of Alice Sebold and Anthony Broadwater. Sebold accused Broadwater of rape. He ws sentenced to 28 years in prison. Ultimately his conviction was vacated, but only after his term had ended. The article summarizes the issues (discussed by Rachel Aviv in an article in The New Yorker, and Sebold's book Lucky). It reflects upon the moral issues involved in the case, and how one can escape from the moral traps involved.en_US
