dc.description2023 Pamela J. Mackintosh Undergraduate Research Awards, Global Award, 2nd place. The project gathered Korean songs and created guides for translation and pronunciation to make these songs in Korean as accessible as songs in European languages. Using the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), a set of symbols that generalize every phonetic sound, and other resources as a basis for non-native speakers, the student was able to create a guide aimed at singers performing Korean songs.en_US
