The United States currently has the highest rate of gun ownership per citizen in the world, with 393 million firearms nationwide. There are many ways that someone can come into possession of a firearm, like as a gift, an inheritance, or as something found on the street. For people who come into possession of firearms in these ways or similar, but do not want them, there are few options available to dispose of them. This project aims to create a product that is accessible to people who want to dispose of their unwanted firearms.
