Sub-Saharan Africa University Gender-Based Violence Research and Prevention Network (SUBVERT)

The Sub-Saharan African University Gender-Based Violence Prevention and Response Network (SUBVERT) is a group of administrators, faculty, and students from nine countries across sub-Saharan Africa (Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, and Zimbabwe) working with University of Michigan collaborators to build the evidence-base related to gender-based violence prevention and response across university campuses in the region. Our vision is to promote higher institutions of learning(tertiary, university, higher education institutions)free of gender-based violence across the continent of Africa/sub-Saharan Africa.
