Maize - A Unified Graphical User Interface (GUI) for Flow Management Data and Services (FMDS) is an intuitive interface that streamlines the Airspace Flow Program (AFP) workflow for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Traffic Managers (NTMS). Our GUI, developed for FMDS, is designed to address the pain points of Traffic Managers and minimize user training requirements through designs that follow human factors engineering principles for user centered design and modern usability heuristics. By using user experience research methods, we established three core functionalities and a collaboration tool to facilitate an NTMS' AFP workflow, with opportunities for user customization that enable users to create their most efficient workspace.
