Technology-facilitated sex trafficking refers to the exploitation of individuals for sexual purposes through the use of digital platforms and technologies to recruit, exploit, and further harm victims. We geared our project on the following question: How does technology contribute to ongoing harm and retraumatization experienced by technology facilitated sex-trafficking victims? Initial findings lead to how technology significantly exacerbates the retraumatization of victims in sex trafficking cases, causing ongoing harm.en_US
