Enrichment is to enhance the quality of animal life by providing environmental stimuli via mental and physical means. Many animal enrichment activities involve the presence of humans. Our project is focused on creating a dolphin safe enrichment system that can be left unsupervised and used without humane supervision in the environment for extended periods of time. An existing design embodiment will serve as a starting point for our work. Our goal is to send a design to Dolphin Quest by May to gain some feedback on the interaction between the dolphins and our device.
