Expanding from COVID-19 to include influenza and MMR data, the first release of the new MI Lighthouse dashboard continues to support local health departments (LHDs) and other community organizations across Michigan in their efforts to improve vaccine coverage rates. Through integrating user-centered design approaches into our development process, including usability testing with LHD users, the new MI Lighthouse platform has been developed to meet the needs of public health professionals across Michigan. Future development efforts are geared toward incorporating additional vaccine data and offering expanded analytical capabilities. Upcoming planned features include viewing options for multi-county LHDs, the ability to make cross-county and historical comparisons, and a comprehensive overview of vaccine waivers to help LHDs identify vaccine hesitancy in their local communities and target low-coverage areas to meet statewide goals.en_US
