A collection of poetry, framed as a play, in response to the Mormon Church's official statement, “The Family: A Proclamation to the World,” released in 1995: a document that warned of society's changing views on morality and emphasized the importance of the nuclear family in God's divine plan. It also declared gender as predetermined and for marriage to exclusively be between a man and a woman, shunning LGBTQ+ individuals from their families. This poetry collection navigates the surreal childhood of a queer speaker raised in a family with God, known as Elohim, physically present in the home and the resulting destruction of the family because of His omnipresence.
