Telencephalic horseradish peroxidase injections in bichirs reveal projections from the dorsal thalamus, posterior tuberculum, nucleus of the torus lateralis, superior raphe and locus coeruleus. Comparison of these data with those from tetrapods reveals a number of diencephalic homologies.en_US
