dc.description.abstract | Including liquid compressibility, an approximate expression for acoustic energy radiated from a single collapsing bubble was derived based on the Noltingk-Neppiras approach and experimental results. The statistical distributions of pulsation amplitudes and acoustic energy emitted from multi-bubble collapses were analysed using the random pulse train model, and compared with new experimental results. These statistical considerations were used in analysis of the cavitation erosion effect. | en_US |
