dc.description.abstract | Absolute cross-sections were determined for several (d, [alpha]) reactions. Thin targets were bombarbed by a beam of 7[middle dot]8 MeV deuterons which were collected in a Faraday cup and measured by a current integrator. Product nuclei were separated chemically from extraneous activities. Absolute disintegration rates were determined by 4[pi] [beta]-counting. Cross-section values and estimated standard deviations are reported for formation of the following nuclei: 22Na, 24Na, 32P, 46Sc, 68 min 104Ag, 112Ag and 111Ag. | en_US |
