dc.description.abstract | SummaryA soluble extract that catalyzes the exchange of acyl groups from acyl coenzyme A to coenzyme A has been obtained from guinea pig liver mitochondria. None of several known acyl group acceptors stimulates the transfer as well as does coenzyme A itself. The preparation also contains dephosphocoenzyme A phosphokinase activity and thus provides a convenient system for the preparation of 3'-32P-acyl coenzyme A from [gamma]-32P-ATP. | en_US |
