Abstract
This project took place at UMBS, Pellston, Michigan, during the summer of 1966. The purpose of this project was to identify the spiders which inhabit buildings at the station. The project started as an avid interest in spiders developed after completing the presession Arthropodology course offered earlier in the summer. There has been work done on the taxonomy of spiders at the Biological Station but not limited to those inhabiting buildings. As the collecting continued it became evident that only a limited number of spiders live indoors. Since there were so few families I identified them to species whenver possible. The family Theridiidae was studied in a closer, more detailed manner than were the other families.Subjects
