dc.description.abstract | One one of the few bright sunny days in June, 1972 my adventures with the creatures of the order Phlangida began. Working under the guidance of Dr. Arlan L. Edgar and using the facilities of the UMBS located on Douglas Lake, Cheboygan County, Michigan, I set out to study the ecology of Leiobunum ventricosum. However, due to the lack of respect that certain members of the species had for biological research, the scope of this study was changed to include other species commonly found in the area. | en_US |
