The Mute Swan (Cygnus olor) is an introduced, non-migratory bird that has gained concerned attention because of its rapidly increasing population (17%/yr) and attacks on humans. The swan's intraspecific territorial defense has been fairly well documented, yet little has been published on it's interspecific territorialism.en_US
