The research mentioned previously has led me to investigate the trophic interactions in a small, freshwater pond. Specifically, I ask three questions: 1) Does the removal or addition of fish effect lower trophic levels? 2) Does the removal or addition of fish cause a change in the species composition of the phytoplankton? and 3) What is the effect of nutrient availability on higher trophic levels?en_US
