The Black River: a management plan.

Abstract

This document develops a plan for managing the Black River consistent with Cheboygan county's protection of the river under the Natural River Act. The county's goals are ""to preserve, protect and enhance the values of the Black in the interests of present and future generations"" (Cheboygan County, 1983). The development of this report's management recommendations is the result of inquiries into historical and current uses of the river region and studies of the river ecosystem.
