Abstract
The aim of this study was to compare and contrast the distributions, phenologies and life histories of Vaccinium angustifolium, the common lowbush-blueberry, and Vaccinium myrtilloides, velvetleaf-blueberry. These species are members of the Ericaceae, or Heath family. Both plants are quite similar to each other morphologically, exhibiting a low to intermediate (1-6 decimeters) shrubby habit and possessing more or less elliptic deciduous leaves.Subjects
