My study focused on developing a assemblage of fishes under different types of cover. I set up three types of plots to control two abiotic factors, cover from light and cover from waves. I was unable to control for any biotic factors, such as competition, predation, and recruitment of phytoplankton. However, by knowing the general behavior of fish, I was able to make some assumptions as to a fishes's preference of cover.en_US
