Abstract
The purpose of our study is to conduct a detailed examination of the Sturgeon River fish community. This entails describing the physical habitat of the river and determining what fish and other fauna are present. We will also calculate population size and identify food habitats of the fish species. Comparisons of species composition and habitat characteristics between our site and other river sites studied will be made. Using this information we will attempt to determine the reasons for the presence and absence of fish species in this habitat.Subjects
