dc.description.abstractThe management of an area the size of the UMBS is an immense undertaking. The Station's property could be managed for literally hundreds of different purposes. This report is meant to serve as a guide for the administrators of the station to refer to when considering management options. It discusses the analysis of three areas of the station and management plans for each. Two of these areas are covered by red pine and aspen forests that are designated for timber management, but are also open to other options. The third area is the main campus of the Biological Station.en_US
