dc.description.abstract | The main objective of this paper is to investigate the microhabitats of Boyne Rapids Adventure Golf (BRAG). This investigation will establish the relative numbers of genera of the algae at BRAG. These populations will then be analyzed and compared to one another. BRAG presents a number of unique microhabitats, the most interesting of which is the streams which dry out for twelve hours a day. A golden colored surface was observed growing on many surfaces throughout BRAG. It was thought this golden color may be due to the presence of diatoms. This investigation will be also used to test that assumption. | en_US |
