Abstract
The algal epiphyte flora on Calliergon giganteum in the mud pools is rich in diatoms, blue-green and green algae, mostly common wetland species. The epiphytes found on both the submerged and the emerged populations of the moss are generally more abundant than those found only in either kind of the moss populations. These dominant epiphytes characterized both kinds of moss populations.Subjects
