dc.description.abstractCypripedium reginae, the showy lady's slipper or queen's lady slipper, is the largest native orchid in Michigan. It is much photographed and is the state flower of Minnesota and the provincial flower of Prince Edward Island. The pouch or modified lip of the flower varies in color from deep magenta to white.en_US
