Abstract
This study examines developmental rates and behavioral responses in the Bufo americanus tadpole. Experimentation included tracking developmental rates, preferences for both cover and water depth, and anti-predator behavior. Data analysis suppported observed trends that include increasing development in warmer waters, and preference for vegetative and shallower waters. Finally, it was observed that tadpoles exhibited no noticeable behavioral changes in response to the introduction of a predator.Subjects
