This was a pleasant and useful assignment that combined my own observations of A. syriaca with reading up on its family and genus, as well as this species. Since I didn't cover all twelve of my introductory points, I plan to use this as a base for further studies of the family. This in turn will be the area of specialization around which I can organize the botanical aspects of my travels about the United States and beyond.en_US
