A study of the HOx budget at PROPHET 2000.

Abstract
A second study of the HOx budget at PROPHET, a rural site in northern Michigan, was undertaken. OH and HO2 radical concentrations and decay rates were measured with 2 instruments, both using laser-induced fluorescence for detection. Descriptions of the LIF technique and basic specifications of both instruments are given. Preliminary data from TOHLM, the instrument for measuring OH decay rates, is shown. Finally, a preliminary attempt to interpret HO2 fluxes calculated by the eddy covariance method is offered.Subjects
