This study compared bird species diversity and tree species diversity on 6 Mist Netting sites off of Bryant Road, in Pellston Michigan. We used the 6 most productive nets, 3 at one site and 3 at another site, and then measured the tree species diversity. We found no correlation between bird species diversity and tree species diversity. We found a correlation between bird species families and sites where water was present. Our results suggest that there is a reason that certain fird families proportionally increase when water is present. Bird families also displayed relationships with dominant tree compositions.en_US
