The subject of the lectures was Professor Catford's life in linguistics. The lectures were introduced by Linguistics Professor Alton Becker and are a linguistic autobiography. In the sixth lecture, from March 28, 1985, Catford talks about his experiences with the Linguistic Survey of Scotland, beginning in 1952. | en_US |
