dc.description.abstract | Co-sleeping, sleeping with a baby nearby, is gaining popularity in the United States. Our task is to research incident data and identify the likely hazards that exist with current stand-alone co-sleeper units on the market. Once we have determined the most likely hazards, we are going to make suggestions for what should be addressed in any new performance standard. We will then design a prototype stand-alone co-sleeper that minimizes exposure to these hazards, and is attractive and affordable. | en_US |
