The issue that we tried to resolve was the difficulty taking appropriate medication doses faced by the elderly. As people get older, they are generally prescribed more medication in varying doses and have trouble taking the correct amount. We designed and built a device that automatically sorts and delivers medication to the elderly person. From our research, some of the important aspects of building the medication dispenser are ease of use, security, and reminders. These aspects are important to the elderly because they easily forget when and how many pills they are supposed to take.en
