Myoelectric prostheses allow the user to open and close their artificial hand (or gripper) by tensing muscles. Current myoelectric prostheses do not provide sufficient feedback to allow the user to determine any properties of the object they are grasping with the gripper. Thus, our assignment was to further develop a myoelectric device that can be used for research purposes which provides various types of feedback to the user and can be used by an able-bodied person.en
