A Multi-National Communications Seminar for broadcasting Department of specialists was subjected to an intensive evaluation study, de Psychology signed to assess the effectiveness of the Seminar in achieving its The University goals. This paper reports data based on one of the procedures of Michigan used: a detailed questionnaire, completed by the 28 participants and an appropriate comparison group in their own countries before the beginning of the Seminar and some nine months after its completion. The major finding is a significant increase among the participants-relative to the comparison group-in the complexity and differentiation of their images of America and of American broadcasting. This increase seems clearly attributable to their American experience.en_US
