dc.contributor.affiliationumElise S. Jone is the natural resources legislative assistant for United States Representative Elizabeth Furse, who represents the First District of Oregon. Ms. Jones has a B.S. in natural resources from Cornell University had has worked on federal environmental policy issues in Washington, DC for six years. At the time of the research, she was a graduate student at the School of Natural Resources and Environment of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she went on to receive an M.S. in natural resources policy.en_US
dc.contributor.affiliationotherCameron Profit Taylor works currently in the Environment Program of the Office of Technology Assessment, United States Congress. Ms. Taylor conducts indepth policy analysis, at the request of congressional committees, on complex science and technology issues related specifically to the environment. In April 1993, Ms. Taylor completed her M.S. in resource policy and administration at the University of Michiogan's School of Natural Resources and Environment. Prior to graduate school, Ms. Taylor worked for the National Wildlife Refuge Association. This article summarizes Ms. Taylor's graduate research project.en_US
