dc.description.abstract | In this thesis explanation, Susan Stacks describes the origin and process, and reflects on the outcome of the series of drawings composing her thesis exhibition. Stacks has made a series of mural sized drawings that incorporate repetitive marks such as stippling, hashes, and other simple gestures. The results of these actions are a series of emotional maps. The drawings are artifacts of her experience escaping loss thorough this meditative and transformative process. | en_US |
