Abstract
Originally aired on June 25, 2010. Feature 1: Dr. Victor Strecher is the U-M Distinguished University Innovator for 2010. He is a professor of health behavior and health education in the School of Public Health, professor of health behavior in the Department of Family Medicine in the Medical School, and also a successful entrepreneur, having launched HealthMedia in 1998. We learn about his work and how it is inspired by personal experience. Feature 2: Catherine Badgley is an Assistant Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology whose research into crop yields from organic farming versus large, agri-business farming has turned common assumptions on their head.
