Abstract
Originally aired on July 30, 2010. Feature 1: The Joint Institute project of U-M Engineering and Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) goes back 10 years, and the Joint Institute was officially launched 5 years ago when President Coleman personally signed the documents in a public ceremony in Shanghai. Feature 2: School of Public Health Associate Dean Dr.Matthew Boulton travels to Tianjin, China with 7 residents, doctoral and graduate students to conduct research on measles and other infectious diseases as well as participate in capacity building with Chinese institutions. Feature 3: In July 2010, President Mary Sue Coleman announced an expansion of the research partnership between U-M and SJTU.
