Feature 1: Since 1909 the U-M Biological Station in Northern Michigan has provided a unique setting for innovative research in environmental science. Their multi-faceted approach to studying carbon sequestration is providing a breadth of empirical data to help better guide future environmental policies. Feature 2: The team at the Center for Motor Behavior and Pediatric Disabilities provides children with Downs Syndrome and Austism Spectrum Disorder with the opportunity to enjoy an important rite of passage. The Center also captures important data that can help inform policy to improve the physical education and well being of children with Downs and ASD. Feature 3: Marine and Aerospace researchers at U-M develop a wholly unique method for gathering oceanic dataen_US
