dc.description.abstract | Corey will discuss the use of hospitality in public service in all types of libraries and how the lessons of the hospitality and service industries can improve our interaction with users. He will also introduce his concept of Patron-Driven Services (an adaptation of Patron-Driven Acquisitions/Collections). Corey has been active in both MIUG and IUG, helped lead the group of librarians who created the IUG Clearinghouse in 2004 (http://innovativeusers.org/iug-clearinghouse-menu), and has an eclectic background in all kinds of libraries (including the library at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown). | en_US |
