Description: Fragments of two different sarcophagi found together. Sarcophagus Fragments F098 and F099are nearby with many worked blocks. Possibly associated with Tomb B055, but might be associated with another tomb. ** Sarcophagus B. Lid is preserved to full width, broken away lengthwise, preserving front and about half of each short side. One broken corner acroterion is visible. Upside down and partially buried. ** Sarcophagus lid may belong to the columnar chest. The pediment has an incised frame, three bands of cornice molding on the short and long sides, and pan and cover tile molding on the roof. One corner acroterion appears to have a figure of a reclining Eros figure. Three lines of inscription are preserved on the front, one on the upper edge and two below the cornice molding; letters are very worn and difficult to read.en_US
