dc.description | Local Information: According to Ismail a similar tomb, partially rock cut and part built, in area was destroyed in construction of modern road. This tomb was dug out 40 years ago. He also said that chunks of non-local "white stone", i.e. marble, from Ataköy had been found in the area surrounding the tomb. | en_US |

dc.description | Dimensions: Chamber: p. H: 1.8 m; max. W: 2.2 m; L: 2.65 m; L including doorway: 3.0 m ** Dromos: H: 1.54 m; W: 0.97 m; L: 2.0 m | en_US |
dc.description | Description: Chamber. The chamber is cut out entirely of the native coarse limestone. It is an oblong space, with funerary couches or shelves (W: 0.7 m) on the back (west) and side walls. The floor is not exposed, so the original height of the chamber is uncertain. The distance between the couches and the ceiling is 0.9 m, and the height of the couches is at least as much. The threshold of the door opening, roughly centered on the chamber, is at the same level as the top of the couches; the top of the door opening is simply the continuation of the ceiling of the chamber. ** Dromos. The floor of the dromos appears to have maintained the level of the threshold of the door opening, while its ceiling rises 0.7 m above the ceiling of the chamber. The lower parts of the walls of the dromos are cut out of the native rock; the upper parts are built out of blocks cut out of the same limestone. (One large block is 1.65 m long and 0.7 m high.) The dromos is roofed by three limestone ceiling slabs (Th: 0.3 m). The innermost slab abuts on a vertical face in the bedrock. | en_US |
