dc.descriptionDescription: Preservation: The wall is preserved to a height of 2 m, above which it has been leveled to match the elevation of the stream bank into which it is built. ** Construction: The wall is constructed of mortared rubble faced with petit appareil masonry, including fieldstones of quartz, schist, and sandstone varying greatly in size. The lime mortar is tan-gray and has stone inclusions no larger than 0.01 m. ** Description: The wall is preserved to a height of 2 m and a width of 0.80 m. The bottom of the wall is anchored by a stone larger than the others used in the wall. A construction trench 0.70 m wide is visible on the south (downstream) side of the wall and contains yellow-tan sandy infill that cuts into the bedded stream deposits of the bank.en_US
