dc.description | Description: Location of possible farmstead in area north of a well-preserved crushing basin (F033). Roughly 20 marble petit appareil blocks are reused in a ruined farmhouse; the house is also chinked with tile. Other blocks reused in the house include 3 molded blocks, one with base molding, and one molded revetment fragment. Near the crushing basin is a large pile of broken stones, some marble, some tile, and 3 larger worked blocks being used to span a modern irrigation channel. Extensive terracing in the area makes the original location of the blocks and extent of the ceramics scatter difficult to determine. | en_US |
