Local Name: Sarnıç Mevkii, Yazıren_US
Local Informant: Ali Karacamen_US
Local Information: The stone architectural fragments in Yazır village came from this area, around the Ottoman cemetery. Our informant also mentioned that there had been a cistern (sarnıç) near here, destroyed in the 1980s. There is another tumulus nearby, in a mevki called Değirmen Duzu, between Güzelbeyli and Yeşilyurt.en_US

Description: Square chamber with full barrel vault springing from near floor level. Built of mortared schist and other stones, including some limestone. Doorway is in front, and a massive irregular limestone block is used as the lintel. Earth has filled the doorway, but not the tomb itslf; presumably it remained open. One arched niche is built into the back wall (H: 2.21m, W: 0.96m, D: 1.14m). The niche is now in poor condition: arch over the niche has been dilapidated, since these were probably the best-cut stones, and the back wall of the niche looted out and hillside dug back, possibly when looters were looking for an additional chamber. The tomb axis perpendicular to the slope of the hill.en_US
