Abstract
Final report, prepared by U.P. Engineers and Architects, November 30, 2011. The Historic Structure Report consists of six parts: Introduction, including the executive summary, administrative data, and a map of the light station; Developmental History, including the historical background and context and a chronology of development and use; Existing Conditions/Physical Description of the site, light/keeper's dwelling, oilhouse, fog signal building, boathouse, assistant keeper's dwelling, light tower, and carpenter shop; Treatment and Use Recommendations for these structures and others on the island; Cost Estimates; and Appendices, including architectural drawings of the buildings, historic and current photographs, test results, e.g. of lead paint found, other sources, and a bibliography. Additional records relating the Historic Structure Report, including FILA's response to the recommendations and priorities, are held by the Bentley Historical Library in paper form.Other Identifiers
